Why CWF
​
We are a christian organisation. Our activities are based on our Christian faith commitment. We try to offer any support possible to anyone in need in the community. Although, we focused on improving and upgrading the lives of women as individuals in the home and community, our involvement is also extended to other groupings.
Trainings are programmed throughout the year, according to the needs of individual groups or georgraphic location. We organise leadership development workshops in May each year during the Leaders National Conference.
The main challenges faced in maintaining our programs and continual follow-ups is the isolated geographical locations of the islands and the costs of communications.
Our Service Programs
We provide services to the community through:
Visitation to the sick members of the the community
Visitation to mothers of new-born babies
Visitation to the bereaved families
Hospital Ministry
Home Ministry
Support church all church programs
Support mission work
Provide catering service for anyone on request
Decoration and hospitality service on request
Members and future potential leaders go through workshops and training to up skill and empower them for leadership roles in their organisation, community and nationally.
Children are very important to women and their welfare is accommodated in the development plans of the organisation.
Women are trained to organize and run their organisations in an orderly and transparent manner to reflect good governance.
